Over many years our family has chosen Best Buy to purchase a lot of nice stuff.
CDs, movies, gift cards for gifts, GPSs, home sound system, nice cameras, video cameras, game boys, xboxs, video games, battery backups and so much more! Best Buy has been a store I can trust that I am getting quality items. It is a store I have always trusted to fix any issues and they have. It is a store that is fun to shop in. But right now it is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth!
3 years ago we bought a brand new washer and dryer. Order #BBY01-664220033464. These units were not cheap as most of our items are really nice that we like to buy. We also paid for the extended warranty with geek squad. We take time and ask a lot of questions with your staff making the best purchase we can. Things have been great so far but now we are having issues with our washer. It took us multiple appts to get service on the unit. About 3 tries it took for someone to come out as they wouldnt show up. We had to call and see what the issue is. Finally someone does show up. When he finished he said he needed to get some parts and will be back next week to make the repair. Well next week came and no call or anything from the tech. We texted him and he said still waiting for some company to get the parts so he couldnt come out yet to finish our repair. Later still nothing so we call the tech company. Now they said it will not be fixed due to some bugs. Not sure what they mean as the tech never said it will not be fixed. Only waiting for parts to get back with us! This tech company who is being used has really been playing with us. They dont want to show up and now not want to fix our machine.
Before our unit at times when it started acting up would leak a little. The tech said that was an issue in the computer that he was going to fix. It would fill too much and leak over. It didnt always happen. It didnt happen when he was at the house. But now since the tech left the unit floods each and every time! We cant use the washer at all now. Also the display didnt light up but would respond, and now it isnt responding. Not sure if he didnt put stuff back in ok but we didnt know till he left. We have been begging for help with this and are not getting anyone who wants to help us. We are left worse off and being told due to some bugs they cant fix it. This is hard to believe that a bug will break the machine down. I wasnt even shown anything, I wasnt told this. Its like the tech company is using something to not make the repair.
I am begging for someone to please help us complete our repair that we were promised. That we paid for with the extended warranty. I trusted that we were buying from a well-known brand and that these issues would never happen. And I know no one is perfect and we are all human. I know some people get so busy and try to move on to the next issue and keep going. I know I am only one person and me not wanting to shop at Best Buy due to this isnt going to close down the business. I am only begging that someone can please do what is right and please help us out. We got 6 people in our house and depend on a washer to get our clothes cleaned. I wish this unit was just cheap and we throw it out but we were hoping to have it for around 8 to 10 years, not just 3. The unit was working great and out of nowhere it starts to act up. It still looks great. It isnt ready for the trash! We love Best Buy and please all we want is someone to please find us a tech company to finish our repair so we can move on.
