I truly hope that you will be able to assist me. I purchased my vehicle through Renault Tokai Dealership. It was truly my best buy. As I was relocating abroad, I thought it a good idea to approach the same Dealership to assist with the sale of my vehicle. At the dealership, i was approached by one of the Consultants/Sales Representative who advised me that it should not be a problem to finalise a sale as he had a list of potential Renault buyers. To cut a long story short, he took possession of my vehicle. The vehicle was sold for R75 000-00. A cheque for the amount of R50 000-00 was deposited to my bank account, with the promise of the balance to be paid later that week. Unfortunately the R50 000-00 cheque was unpaid. I contacted Renault Dealership Tokai as well as Renault HO Johannesburg who declined to assist me. I was forced to open a criminal case of theft and was informed by the Police that the consultant had done this before at the same dealership. Carlos, I appeal to you to assist me as I fail to understand how someone of this criminal callibre can still be employed with Renault and I fail to believe that I am a loser of R75000-00. this is my hard earned cash. Once again I need you to please assist me Carlos. I have all correspondence between myself, the consultant, Renault as well as the Police.
