Hi,
I am terribly frustrated with your team at CitiMortgage. If you look up my home loans you will see that I have spent over 2 months trying to resolve an issue on my credit report. CitiMortgage wrongly reported a foreclosure to the credit bureaus. We have never foreclosed on our home. We took a out bankruptcy in 2012 because my husband lost his business. We have always been on time and on schedule with our home loan. We reaffirmed the home in our bankruptcy. Your company received the reaffirmation paper work October 16, 2012. For some reason (CitiMortgage is blaming our attorney our attorney is blaming you.) it was never reaffirmed. Non the less... WE NEVER FORECLOSED on the property ! I have called numerous times only to get unhelpful, uncaring people who transfer me from one department to the other. Twice after being on hold for over an hour, I have been hung up on. No one calls me back.. They claim they can't. They can't give me their extensions... so each time I call I have to re explain everything and it takes an hour for each person to look through all my notes. Every one comes back saying they can't see where it was foreclosed on. The bankruptcy department won't talk to me because its in an inactive status. The inactive bankruptcy department can't talk to me because this is an old loan # its in the old system that they can't see it... so they transfer me to customer service who can't help me because they can't see all the notes form the other departments. I have talked to managers.... I have sent faxes... The most recently, being a fax I sent on June 3rd showing my credit report where you reported that it has been foreclosed on. I called on Friday, June 10th to see if you received my fax and if there has been any resolve. I talked to the same group of people who kept transferring me... I broke down and cried while talking to Tim who sent me to his Manger who kept me on hold for an additional 40 minutes while he reviewed notes and then hung up on me.... I am exhausted!!! I feel so hurt and frustrated... I have lost several thousands of dollars while I have waited for resolve. We had to back out of a contract we had for a home, we hoped to build, because we couldn't get resolve. The builder has now raised his prices $5000 for the exact same home. Prices of land have gone up in the last couple of months. The lot we were hoping to purchase for $109,000 is now probably sold and comparable lots are going for 139,900... I am devastated. I feel like no one at CitiMortgage cares. I would think it would be illegal to wrongly report a foreclosure to a credit bureau.... All I really want is some resolve... (though some restitution would be great) We sold and closed our home of 19 years on Monday, June 6th. We are homeless... because we cant get into another home until you resolve this. PLEASE HELP ME!!
