Malky sent a message to Terry J. Lundgren- Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Macys, Inc. – email address that said:
Hi,
I have order a Nespresso coffee maker for my wife at macys 3 weeks ago, and was promised to have it delivered for Christmas (they confirmed with me they macys has in in stock and can deliver within week.
They shipped a total dif device, and wife wife was terrible disappointed. Never have i messed up her Christmas present in the past.
When i called macvys to complain the rep just hung up on me 3 times - until i finally got thru to manger.
I was offered an embarrassing $25 compensation for the mess - which i rejected ( i think the aggravation of messing up my wifes Christmas present is worth more than that....
When i asked him to at least get it to me for new years he said well: how about take the device to a macys store and have them exchange it for you.
Its new years... The device has not arrived - and I'm still in shock of how Macys mistreated us. I think macys is bigger and better than how they handled my order.
I shop everything online- never have i had any problems like this with amazon or Walmart.
