Hi, I just sent an email to LOUD tech inc. tech support but was unable to find your email to CC it to. For your convenience, you'll find this email copied and attached below:

To whom it may concern:

I called earlier today to discuss an issue I was experiencing with my Ampeg Micro VR 200 watt bass amplifier head which rendered it un-usable. After speaking with multiple individuals, we were finally able to reach a compromise regarding what was to be done with my situation. I appreciate the company's willingness to send me a new circuit board to install in the VR head.

I apologize if my persistence was taxing, but I am a firm believer that a company must stand by their product and see to it that the customer is satisfied. Although Ampeg had no legal obligation to provide service due to the fact that I purchased the amp used, this problem would have occurred with whichever end-user ultimately made use of this unit. When I purchased it, I personally removed the head and cab from the box and the protective plastic. This means that even though the packaged amp switched hands once, the unmolested (and brand new) product was still defective.

I realize that hearing a complaint like this, for support team members, is just another day on the job; It is important to note that for the customer it is yet another day they cannot play nor exercise their true passion for music to the fullest extent.

I have great respect for Ampeg brand amplifiers and cabs, they have a tone like no-other and greats such as James Jamerson or John Paul Jones have recorded countless legendary tracks using this brand. One must realize, it is acts like this that generate positive PR and brand loyalty for/to Ampeg. I am certain that Jess Oliver, the man who designed the B-15, would be happy to know that something was done to remedy this problem; as am I.

Here is a copy of my address to send the new circuit board to. I've also included my contact info in case any questions arise

Thank you very much. Sincerely,

-Ivan
