We met a few times as I was accountable for Lilly business in Finland, Baltics and Poland. I read the news of you retirement just today. Just wanted to say that I truly appreciate your leadership and vision to get Lilly where the company is today. It was not always the easiest time but there you are now with a great pipe-line and fantastic future prospects. I have a background of few major pharma companies. I must say that my time with Lilly was both most rewarding of all! I really enjoyed and lived the values of this great company for 16 years! For me it was the greatest experience; I learned so much of pharma business beyond of what the previous companies could teach.I have life long friends with whom I keep on having a relationship. Fantastic bosses and mentors such as Javier Ellena and many others who made me who I am today. Most importantly our products and services really help patients that need them; trust me I have (unfortunately for the condition) personal experience of the difference Lilly (I still call it our) products can do. It was unfortunate that my time with Lilly came to an end too soon. I have no hard feelings and I keep on believing and investing into the company. The most important reason is the values of our company!
