Dr. Alfait sent a message to Larry Ellison Co-Founder and CEO, Oracle Corporation – email address that said:
Hi Larry, I was much impressed with the compassion you showed and your capacity to respond to the physician who assisted your nephew to create the opportunities for many to enhance their health. Your ability to retain your individuality and lifelong set of values in the corporate world impressed to me.
I recently read of your concerns with Googles intrusion into the Democratic administration and apparent attempt to gain undue influence and power.
Today I happened to read about your interest for further expansion on Lanai and inclusion of Nobu restaurant and The Farm, two of my favorites when I visited my daughter at USC.
I am writing because we appear to have similar values and interests. I practiced as a clinical and forensic psychologist and graduate faculty member in the psychology department at the University of Hawaii for 20 years. I have a great love of Hawaii and know well all strata of the Hawaiian people in the population from my work as a psychologist. I retired relatively young in order to primarily focus my attention on my young daughter after my wife developed breast cancer and passed away. I moved to a second home and now live in Carmel and Pacific Grove California.
I have a long promoted individual freedom, dignity, health and improving opportunities for people to enhance each of these.
I am financially secure and want nothing from you other than to offer my assistance and perspective as a source of input to reaching your many laudable goals for Lanai and humanity. I would greatly enjoy the opportunity to contribute to implementing your vision and values which soon closely aligned with mine.
Aloha,
Dr. Vince
