Hi Laura,

I’ve become a recent fan of Pottery Barn due to the great quality and craftsmanship of your furniture after purchasing a used dresser off of craigslist. Thank you for all the excellent work you are doing in producing high end products for us to enjoy.

I just want to quickly share my recent shopping experience at Pottery Barn Outlet in West Covina, CA. I had purchased two identical dressers and had paid the price listed on the handwritten tag on one of the dressers. After the transaction I discovered multiple stickers on the back of the dresser that the price of the item was actually lower than advertised. I mentioned it to one of the store reps Matthew who spoke to one of his managers about the price discrepancy. He felt that the items should have been priced matched to honor the lower price found on both dressers. After we both made our case, the manager only allowed the price match for one of two identical items. I still ended up purchasing both dressers (we are expecting another baby and needed both) but felt that it was not right that the store did not honor the lower price for both identical items.

But regardless of what happened to me, I just want to recognize Matthew for his excellent customer service and for his willingness to honor the price even though he was not able to do so. You have an excellent worker in this store and I think he should deserve recognition for going above and beyond my expectations.
