Fiona sent a message to Michael O'Leary, CEO, Ryanair Email Address that said:
Hi Michael, my family and I are frequent Ryanair fliers and have flown into Rodez in France several times with no hitch. This year however there is a big hitch as our flight lands at 1.40pm and ALL the car companies in the airport close as 12 noon? We booked the flights and then went to book the car and nothing is available. Your representative Alexander said that this was not Ryanairs problem but I disagree as there is no point flying people to a rural and remote airport if there is no car hire or public transport, bar a taxi, which is no good to us as we are travelling 120 miles to Sarlat. I presume you work in tandem with these companies? You advertise Car hire on your site, so what has changed this year? We would be willing to pay extra if it meant someone could wait till our flight lands to sort us out. I hope you can talk to these companies and see what the problem is? Im sure that vast majority on that plane will be expecting to hire a car on their arrival.
Look forward to hearing from you. (Great job on the airline by the way.. long time since our days in SKC!)
Kind regards
Fiona
