My name is Cian Coughlan. I am a trainee accountant with KPMG. I am also a representative of the student body of trainee accountants in my role as treasurer of Chartered accountants Student Society of Ireland. Each year we hold events aimed at giving value to our student membership. We are aiming to hold our biggest event to date this year and to do so we decided to pay for a key note speaker that our membership would really benefit from listening to.
Very briefly - the event is run in conjunction with Morgan McKinley in May (we would work around your schedule). The theme this year is Expanding horizons (networking) and will also include speakers from LinkedIn.
Our contacts at Morgan Mckinley were surprised and somewhat amused at my optimism in hoping to enlist your help as coming on board as the key note speaker. I do realise you are an incredibly busy man but with Cheltenham over, I would love to be able to tell them that we have your support as a former trainee accountant yourself.
