Nilay sent a message to Michael O'Leary CEO, Ryanair Email Address that said:
Hi Mr.O'leary,
My name is Nilay Dalal from India. I would like to bring to your notice of an incident that I had undergone while trying to book tickets on your website.
My wife and I along with a couple of friends are traveling to Spain this summer and wanted to book a flight on your airline.
This is the 1st time I am booking tickets on your airline. I acidently got redirected to an agent namely:- www.directline-flights.co.uk
Their website looks very similar to yours and I was mislead to belive that I was booking the tickets on your airline only.
However coming to point they have over charged us GPB of 347.23 and given us an baggage allowance of only 15kg instead of 20kg which option I had selected. (This is a basically duping me.)
Later when I realised that this is not your website but that of an agent I reconfirmed the price of the same ticket was Euro 290 with 20kg baggage allowance.
I wanted to bring this incident to your notice so you can take some action with your vendors, to prevent such bad experiences to reoccur.
Thanks.
Nilay
