Walter sent a message to William H. Rogers, Jr. – Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Banks – Email Address that said:
Hi Mr. Rogers. I'm writing this email in hopes you can get the collections department to extend me (10) business days to get my vehicle loan caught up. I live in North Carolina. We just experienced the flood of the century here. I had to use my available cash for my family until my insurance and fema kicked in. I did n plan for this storm to happen and I need your help ASAP. I have had this vehicle to long for it to be repossessed now! I know Suntrust watched the news and saw or read the devastation here in Goldsboro. I have anther auto loan with Nissan Finance. Nissan sent a letter out to all it's customers in the flood affected areas and waived one car payment for them to show there support in this tragic event, all we had to do was call in and it was done in five minutes. Suntrust collection team is not bothered by our flooding situation at all. All they state is your vehicle is out for repossession. Please help me this one time. I have to much invested in this vehicle to lose it and I do not want to file bankruptcy to keep it! I know there is something you can do to help. I I'm asking for is (10) business days from today 12-09-2016. Thank you so much. Sincerely, Walter
