Hi Mr. Van Saum,
We have sold our house and when the title company checked the title, a line of credit that we had opened on 1/31/2003 was showing that it was still open. The balance of that line was rolled over to another line on 6/26/2004. We never received discharge papers from citizens and citizens did not record the discharge with the city. We have all the papers showing the rollover to the new credit line and the statements showing the 2003 line had a zero balance. We are having a big problem getting a letter from the research department, saying its been paid in full, before we close on our house on Thursday, 6/29/2017. All the correct paperwork has been sent in to the research department by the lawyer. We have been to our branch and they tried to help us as much as they could but we are running out of time and Im afraid the request is still sitting at the research department since the lawyer has not received an answer from them yet.
I would appreciate it if you could reply to this email today. We, along with The buyers, need to close on the appointed date.
