Hi, my name is Janie Gomez. I am from Slidell, La. I was with Charter Communications around 2014. I have since been put into collections for an old balance. I do not know what the balance is for and cant get an answer because I am now with a collection agency. It is so hard since Charter became such a big company to get people on the phone or to get straight answers. I canceled my service when I went back to ATT and turned my equipment in to the local office. I have no idea why I have a balance. I dont know if my service wasnt canceled. We did continue to have our phones defaulting to the old charter wifi after canceling and thought it was a fluke, but now that we have this balance I am thinking that maybe our service wasnt canceled when it was supposed to be. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated considering it is hurting my credit.
