My son and I walked in to the location to update his trade is PS4 and update to a Pro. For some reason the stores employee was so rude the whole time. So I was thinking maybe its just bad customer service. But the moment my son took his game out his back book, the employees whole facial expression changed. He looks at us and assumed we stole the game. He even tested the game system and told us it had no trade value because it was broke, which was a lie. I took the system to another GameStop not far from the first. Walked in advised the employee that I was there to trade the PS4 and whatever trade value is giving I want to apply to the Pro. So she tested the system and of course there we no problems. We did the trade and I left the Store that is located on Security Blvd, Baltimore MD. I went back to store (0969) to ask the employee why he racially profiled us and treat us like we were thieves. I also had the receipt in my hand from the security Blvd GameStop. He did apologize and say he was having a bad day. I did the survey and the owner by the name of Erick called me. We spoke but in my heart he is not talking the satiation serious. Being racially profiled is personal to me. I have a son that Is serving in the US Navy. His best friend was deployed to Korea. I had a cousin Sgt. Maj. Wardell B. Turner who was killed in a Kubal attack in Afghanistan going on two years the 24th of this month. So when I walk in a game stop in the country that my Family have Risk and is actively still risking their lives and get profiled its a problem. I contacted the corporate office so they can be aware of what happened so it will never happen to anyone of any race again. The owner called me again and even though I never asked for or was looking for any kind of compensation, the owner hit me with a low blow of a 25.00 gift card. You know just like I know what that will buy my son in GameStop. He could have at least offered the 215 on a gift card since thats the store credit the other GameStop gave me. And I texted the owner a copy of the receipt and the video. Because we caught the second incident on video. I am actually considering protesting the store.
