Recently I signed up for the American Express Platinum Card, for which I was entilted to join as a Gold member of Hilton Honors
However, I was not allowed to do by your customer service staff because I was unable to provide the name I used for an old HH account. I could not remember the name I used as I have not been using the HH for quite a while
I told the staff to simply delete my old account, but apparently they refused
