Mr. Nassetta,
I am a Diamond Hilton Honors member but the staff at the O'Hare Hilton Garden Inn treated me with such disdain when my reservation was lost. They offered no help in finding another Hilton hotel and were dismissive about my situation. The hotel has not attempted to communicate with as supposedly requested by the "Corporate Guest Relations Specialist". I am so mad about the lack of care and customer service that I forgot to worry about the "lost reservation". By the way. I called Marriott as I am a Platinum member and they upgraded me to a suite because of my frustrating day.
