Dear Mr. Menear,
I am appalled to find out that your 10 year employee Maurice Rucker of the Albany store was terminated after being verbally attacked by a customer for no reason. In fact, he was doing his job by instructing the customer to put his dog on a leash. I am not aware that you can actually have a dog in the stores leashed or not, at least not in Wisconsin! The customer in the case, was not right! On your website it states that your company's values include 1) taking care of the employees, 2)doing what is right, 3) treating people with respect. This certainly did not happen for Mr. Rucker. Until you make this right publicly I will not shop Home Depot and I will encourage my friends to do the same. His termination is egregious, and the company should be supporting him and treating HIM with some respect rather than perpetuating the racist and bigoted treatment he received from that vile customer!
