Alan sent a message to William H. Rogers, Jr. – Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Banks – Email Address that said:
I am a 40+ year business customer of SunTrust (and the banks SunTrust acquired). I have been extremely frustrated trying to obtain a bank letter that we need for a business application.
It simply needs to state my how the account is titled, the account number and when the account was opened. It needs to be on bank letterhead and has to have someones contact information on it.
We have been into our local branch 4 times requesting this letter and have spoken to business customer service three times and all we have received is a credit verification letter which is not what we need.
We have also asked for our relationship manager to contact us and have not heard a word from this person in over 10 years.
Please have someone contact me at my office to resolve what should be a simple request. I am sure this is not indicative of how your company does business, but this is what my experience has been so far.
