I am a former kitchen-aid (whirlpool customer) I recently tried to have repaired my Microwave that your company no longer makes. I purchased the pars and was scheduled an appointment thru whirlpool to have them installed. I was told no problem until the workman called to say he was on his way to do a diagnosis. Now it is the workman has to purchase the parts (50% markup). I will deal with a non whirlpool product in the future as I want honesty and integrity.
