I am a single lady who went to your store orilies in henryetta ok in may to get wiper blades and headlight installed, one guy took off blades, and the kid doing headlite told me to pop hood, i did, he raised hood and the metal wiper arm fall and broke my windshild,..for 1, the kid took out battery set on concrete.
2. he took off other parts like breather and decided he could not install headliget. now I had a broke windshild and car tore apart...for 4 hrs I was there trying to do headliget alone, I finally had to ask a customer to help me. please look at video Id you think I am exaggerating.
I was there 5 hrs now.
Mary agreed to replace windshield, I wanted same factory VW windshield because my car still has all factory parts.
she ordered , I waited for weeks and day I went to have installed by safelite I see the windshild is not factory, 1 dont have VW on it and 2, didnt have tint band in top. I refused and told Mary order the right one, she called and said they ordered, it looks the same and is factory vw windshield, I looked at safelite paperwork and it says it was the New Beetle stock unit and was satisfied, and now A week after I had installed I was driving down main 35mph and a rock hit this new windshield....I was so upset. I had plenty of rocks hit the old windshield and never hurt it, also the noise of car was different and wiper blades I had bought new did not wipe the windshield clear????? so I went to Volkswagen and they told me this was a cheap piece of glass and was not VW factory. I am highly upset, I have in 2 weeks had my top replaced, new rims and tires, I take care of my car, and should be allowed to have the same windshield in it again that they broke. I have talked to a supervisor at corperate named Richard, and he says there is nothing he can do. I hope you can befor I have to take other measures. I do have a quote from Volkswagen for new factory windshild replacement and I believe that is what I am due.. it is 1395.00. please contact me anytime.
