I am a Vodafone India customer for the past 11 years. And for the – Vittorio Colao email address

Ramesh sent a message to Vittorio Colao CEO, Vodafone that said:

Hi,

I am a Vodafone India customer for the past 11 years. And for the past 6 days, I have been trying to get a SIM card replacement.

Apparently, vodafone is doing a system upgrade from 14th-19th May 2015 and no services are being provided. It is May 20th today and the alleged upgrade is still not complete.

Who in their right minds would approve a 5 day long upgrade and still screw it up? Even if you don't care about the inconvenience caused to the consumers, what about lost revenue and loss of business. Not to mention the free pay dolled out to the thousands of employees of your stores (all of whom are sitting idle during the upgrade period).

If I were you, the first thing I would do is to fire the person who approved this stupid upgrade.
