I am currently staying at the Hilton,

I am an auctioneer, and before going to my auction at 5.00 pm today, I had a shower. The floor of the bath become so slippery, I went flying. Fortunately I fell away from the shower, so I did not bang my head on the faucets. Otherwise my head would have been split open. Nevertheless I was in extreme pain and could not get up. It took me over 10 minutes to get out of the tub because the bath was so slippery, and there was no railing that I could use pull myself up. I still don't know how I got out of the bath, but put myself in a precarious and dangerous position to do so. I also knew instantly that my back would be put out, with probably a lot more damage surfacing later.
I called the front desk and spoke to Ana. She immediately offered me a free night and did not even ask if I was injured. Amazing!
I told her I did not want a free night, but required a safe room as I am staying here another 3 night. I asked for a handicapped room, or a room that just had a shower. She told me none was available, and she would try tomorrow. I also told her I needed a mat for the bath, so that I would not slip again. She told me they would go out and buy one and put it in my bathroom.
I asked to speak to your General manager Marcy - but she was too busy and would not take my call. I was stunned that she would not take my call, to find out how badly I was injured.

When I returned to the hotel at 10.00 pm I was confident that there would be a handwritten note from her, apologizing and enquiring how badly I was injured and wether she could help me with anything. As expected there was nothing from her! If these two individuals worked for me they would both be fired!
The lady at the desk found me a handicapped room, and Nickolus - the maintainable technician, and Lynn the housekeeper for the evening shift assisted me. Both are a great credit to your company, and restored a little of my lost confidence in Hilton.

As I write to you, I am about to take 3 Advils to ease the severe pain that I am in. There is no question that I am badly bruised around the coxis area, and perhaps other areas of concern will manifest themselves in the next couple of days.

I was in great pain during the auction, and certainly was not able to perform to my normal standard.
I shall be fully checked out when I get back to Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon.
I do not believe that I am the first person to slip in your baths, and believe this problem has been ignored for too long.

I am contemplating a major lawsuit against Hilton, as I believe that unless there is major financial cost to your company, and a lot of bad publicity, then I doubt that the action required throughout your group will occur.
Sincerely,
Dave
