Laurie sent a message to Eric H. Schultz President and CEO, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care that said:
I am an office Manager of a Medical Practice in Southern Vermont. I have tried for hours on the phone speaking with customer services reps to help one of your clients to find a provider he can see and that his insurance will pay. This patient has been with our practice for 10 years but since he has Harvard Pilgrim Insurance now he is no longer able to see us apparently his insurance is a Narrow Limited Plan and an HMO and there is no open enrollment. We have been servicing this patient since 9/2015 to current for free as your company is unable to tell us who he can see. We are repeatedly told to look on the website patient is told the same thing. The only Podiatrist that comes up in the patients area is our office but the website is in correct of the people in the office are but we don't know which.
It has been very disheartening to see this patient struggle to just find a provider whom is covered under his plan. He is grateful for our assistance and our free service but we just can no longer continue. The free care and the countless hours we have spent on the phone for him and to get no resolve every time we call.
I hope you actually get this message and as the CEO of this company will make it your personal goal to see one of your customers final gets the information he so desperately needs.
Thank you for your time. I truly hope for a response from you an some assistance for this patient.
Regards
Laurie
