I am and have been a customer of Charter/Spectrum for over 15 years....your company has been absolutely wonderful in working with me each time Ive called....but now I have a slight problem. Ive called and of course your many represenitives could not help me.... except one... and his name was Colin...I was told I could not get service at my new address because it was unavailable but there is a junction box within 30 feet across from my house and directly across from my neighbors house. I was told a survey could be taken to see if it was possible to get cable to my new house and....yes...it is ...however...it would cost me near $800 dollars to add on to it.....plus the monthly fee...I have very few neighbors out that way and they are all on satellite but would also like to be on cable...I do not understand how the box could be so close and not service anyone out there... but I have seen...several times... a cable truck out at that box and have ask and was told it is "available"...I am really highly upset that I have been told it is unavailable I run a business out of my house and have been happy with the service of spectrum for internet as well as my tv programming and do not want to have to do a 2 year contract for something I dont want...I know there are more houses being built out that way so Im just asking....cant something be done without me having to pay a big fee to get it out there? The Junction box number is 711 C....I think...(I can check again if need be) and my address is 703 Steel Bridge Rd.....SANFORD, NC 27330.... a survey was already done and I was told the hook up isnt within the 900 ft. and would cost the near 800 to receive it...I really would still love to stay a spectrum customer and Ive tried for so long to get this out there and I know you are a very busy person and this is probably... more than likely.... a very petty problem to you but I just had to try....thank you anyway for your service you have provided
