Amanda sent a message to Brian C. Cornell Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Target Corporation – email address that said:
I am emailing you so that you are aware that after 11 years been a RED card holder, I closed my account. I contacted the support desk for assistance and even asked for a supervisor, but did not get any contact after 72hrs. I then emailed support to explain that I have not received any contact from a supervisor. They were not able to help me. Again I was with Target for over 11 years in good standings. I apparently missed a payment or two from one visit to a Target store in March 2016. I was not aware that I owed any money as I thought I had paid the bill of $58. Now there is 3 months of late fees added to my account and no one with Target has any compassion for a single mother of two trying to take care of her kids. I dont even have $100 for groceries each week to feed my children. This lack of human empathy has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I refuse to give a single penny to anyone affiliated with Target from here on out.
