Alison Davis sent a message to Robin Hayes - Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of JetBlue Airways Corporation - Email Address that said:

I am one of many travelers who were scheduled to fly on JetBlue to the Caribbean after Irmas vast destruction. Three of us were to depart BWI to St Thomas in November. After discovering that the property we booked would not be open to the public until possibly December due to damages...I immediately contacted Expedia. The hotel is refunding our money. I hold as Expedia is contacting JetBlue only to be basically told that JetBlue had 9/13-9/19 for refunding . REALLY. I called on 9/21. Yes. we purchased non refundable...did not take insurance. I accept responsibility for that. However....the fact that NOTHING was offered..no voucher for future travel (which we definitely would have used). This is poor customer service to be kind about how I really feel. Im sure JetBlue will have absolutely no problem filling those three seats. None whatsoever. So what exactly is the point of what will clearly be double dipping ?? I would like to believe that JetBlue is not a greedy conglomerate that merely cares about the ticket sales. I would like to believe that you actually care about the people that fill those seats, and the ones that had no choice but to cancel. I am so disappointed and disgusted that we save our pennies for vacations only to be told... that 2K for your flights? Yeah...well keep that . Shame on you. I do hope that you take the time to personally respond, however I have little faith that you will.
