I am sending this email to Laura Alber president and CEO of William Sonoma/Pottery Barn . The reason is that I have not received a satisfactory outcome to a problem I am having with getting a promotional discount of 20% off on an item that I purchased on Friday, February 19, 2016 .. Upon ordering this item initially I specifically asked the customer service representative if there were any future discounts or sales on this item. I was told that there were not this morning Presidents' Day Monday, February 22, 2016 I received an email stating that there was a 20% discount on my item . When I called customer service to get the 20% discount they told me it could not be done nor could I cancel my order because they would not guarantee it . I feel that I should be entitled to the 20% discount on this item . I am a loyal customer to Pottery Barn but I will not be ordering or buying any future merchandise any longer at your stores or online because of this situation. I am writing to you because it seems like you are the only person that can approve a simple request like mine . Customer service nor managers will not help me and will not guarantee The cancellation of this order . Please reply as soon as possible.
