I am the Executor of my deceased father’s estate and the Trustee of his Revocable – Kelly S King email address

Rose sent a message to Kelly S. King – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BBT Corporation – Email Address that said:

I am the Executor of my deceased father's estate and the Trustee of his Revocable Trust. I opened bank accounts for both the Estate and the Trust in Martinsburg, WV in Oct 2015. I picked BBT because there are locations in WV (my dad's estate location) and Georgia where I live. The Edwin Miller Blvd, Martinsburg WV branch was wonderful, efficient, helpful and a good experience. The BBT branches in Peachtree City, GA, Thomas Crossroads, GA and Newnan, Georgia have been horrible.
I had a trust account set up in anticipation of transferring the estate proceeds into it when the estate is settled. In April, BBT started charging a $12 maintenance fee when the balance feel below $1200. On June 13th, 2016, I went to the Thomas Crossroads, GA branch and meet with Laurie Peterson to specifically resolve this issue by transferring money from the estate account into the trust account to avoid the maintenance fee. I thought the issue was resolved until the trust account was charged a $12 maintenance fee on 06/27/2016 dropping the balance below $1500. I contacted Laurie Peterson and she refunded the maintenance fee on 06/29/2016 bringing the balance back to $1500. On July 27, 2016, BBT once again charged a $12 maintenance fee dropping the account balance below the $1500 minimum AGAIN. I emailed Laurie Petersen once again about being charged $12 since I had specifically gone to her office to bring the balance to the point where it wouldn't be charged. Here's her response: "Your balance is below the $1500.00 , you brought it to that and then let it go below." I did NOT take any money EVER from the trust account. The balance is now below the minimum because your bank keeps taking out a maintenance fee. Obviously, the only way to resolve this issue to close the BBT trust account and open a new trust account at another bank. My father's estate is almost completed and that $260,000 in the estate account will be moving into the trust account. The trust account will NOT be at BBT.
I have enough problems trying to settle my father’s estate and do NOT have time to babysit your bank transactions. I am almost 60 years old and have lived in WV, MD, VA, CO, and Georgia and had bank accounts at multiple banks and your Georgia branches are the absolute WORST that I have ever encountered. My father’s estate has been stressful enough with multiple auctions and thefts by the auctioneers. I do not need the stress of your bank’s mismanagement on top of everything else.
