David sent a message to Carlos Ghosn President and CEO, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. – email address that said:
I am writing to have someone other than Consumer Affairs fix this problem I have with this Nissan Pathfinder or replace the vehicle.
I have tried several times now, and keep getting the run around on a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder I purchase just a few months ago. As soon as we purchase it, I got a recall in June And I have been told several times not to have anyone in the front seat until its fixed. This is the only car we have and I cant use it due to this problem. I have asked the last consumer affairs person today the problem again. And all I hear is you don't know when it will be fixed. I ask to have the vehicle replaced or to give me something I can drive. All the consumer affairs person will tell me someone will call. Case number again, I would think Nissan would do better than this. We have been a Nissan family for years, but this is not right that I cant use a Vehicle due to your problem. We fill Nissan has hung us out to dry on this Vehicle. I still make payments on a vehicle which we can't use due to know one can set in the seat. How unreal is that?
I would like to speak with the president of Nissan on this, I am not sure if the president know what we are going thru or if they care.
