I am writing to you because Ross is one of my favorite stores for years. I ask for gift cards for Birthdays, Christmas etc. I went in this morning at about 9:00 am. I understand this is the day after Thanksgiving so I am sure associates may be tired. WOW, awful associates the ones I interacted with. 4 of them and the cashier just awful. I always go in and say Good Morning to most people and the Holiday season. Ross is the first store I went into to shop for a few things. Your Female Loss and Prevention walked around with an attitude like she owned the store which sets a bad tone. Up at the cashier (she was the only one) she had a terrible look on her face while she chewed gum. I figured when i got up there i would just do my "Good Morning" she took her time and it was a good 5-7 minutes and this woman ahead of me only had 3 items. I get up to the front I say "Good Morning" and i get under her breath wont look at me "Good Morning" still chewing her gum and a sour look so i figure she must be tired. I say "oh you must be going crazy with this Holiday Season. She says "uh huh" again no eye contact. I turn around and notice there are now 5 people behind me. I see 2 other associates come up with the same sour look and they look at us like we are an annoyance and say they are going on a break and out they walk. I dont know are they being treated poorly or is this what it will feel like when i walk in our Ross Store? I am a 57 year old woman who works here in town at our Junior College so I deal with all different types of people from every walk of life but this truly made me sad. Not too mention what we all have been through here in Santa Rosa and continue to go through with the aftermath. We should all be grateful we are here and breathing so this is why i feel so strongly about this morning. I love the Holidays and this just bummed me out. I had to write and hopefully this gets to you or someone who can address this because as of today I will not be going back. Happy Holidays Thank you
