I am writing you in regard to your 2017 Ford Fusion which I recently leased for three years. I am not happy with the performance or the gas mileage. The 2.5 four cylinder gasoline engine seems to be undersized for this heavy vehicle. The vehicle labors when accelerating up steep hills, its loud and burns a lot of gasoline. For over 15 years, I have stayed away from American made vehicles because of poor gasoline mileage and inferior workmanship. The quality of the 2017 Ford Fusion seems to be good, real good which is a plus. This vehicle would be a nice if it had a high output fuel efficient engine instead of the weak, gas guzzling four cylinder engine which Ford has dropped into this fine vehicle. In 2017, you would think that Ford would have a more fuel efficient engine than some gas guzzling 2.5 four cylinder which only gets 21 miles a gallon. Sorry, but your 2017 Ford Fusion, though built well, did not meet my expectations. I am glad I dont own this car, thank and have a nice day. Arnold Staples (412-372-1438)
