I bought a New Kwid Car in my Son name. Aarik Model : – Carlos Ghosn email address

Arvind sent a message to Carlos Ghosn – Chairman and CEO, Renault – Email Address that said:

I bought a New Kwid Car in my Son’s name. Aarik .

I was very happy initially with the new car and recommended it to many friends relatives.

I am sorry to experience the following issues with the NEW CAR.

1. In just a few weeks the Wiper just broke off while cleaning the car. (Very fragile)

2. On 04-April-2016, there was a burning smell coming from the bonnet, the AC stopped working and the car broke down. It would not start. The car was then towed to Trident Renault, the service person mentioned that a starter motor had burnt. He informed me that there was this problem reported in some of the initial models of Kwid.

3. Once again Today 12-June-2016. To our horror, there was a burning smell and smoke coming from the bonnet, the AC stopped working. My Son managed to drive to the Trident Renault showroom and dropped it before the car broke down. And yes, the car did not start after he parked it in the showroom. Today is a Sunday, and so there were no service personnel present today. He has to wait for another day for assistance.

4. When it rains heavily Water seeps into the car from the left part of the dashboard,. And the left leg-space in the front was filled with about one inch deep water.

5. Air pressure in all four tyres drop by 2 or 3 PSI units within a week.

6. There is a rumbling sound of window glass from both the front door windows, when the car is idling or moving slowly. Though this was looked into by your service people, the sound is still there.

7. There is a squeaking sound while applying the Brakes, Though this was looked into by your service people, the sound is still there.

For a new car these are too many issues.
Such a quality of car from a reputable company as Renault is quite disappointing.
So many issues and the repeated breakdown are unacceptable.
I bought this car for my Son and my wife who live in Bangalore, I stay far away in Tamilnadu, The thought of them getting stuck in a breakdown situation on the road is very scary.
I am loosing patients with this car breaking down again and again.
If there is a problem with this particular car please replace it and Kindly sort this out immediately to restore customer confidence in your company.

I spoke to 7 different people at your service station and at your customer care centers, No one was able to give me an honest response, what I received was a standard coverup reply,
Your service guy Mr.Sunil at Trident Mysore Road, Bangalore, was giving me replies like, It could be probably this and probably that..this kind of reply after supposedly inspecting the car for 2 days.

Look at the reason given for the smoke and burning smell coming from under the bonnet area.

The reason for water pouring into the car was that "there must have been some dust blocking the path of the water flow from going out" seriously.. do you expect me to buy these reasons.
This is the second time the car has broken down in the same manner and the way your people have handled the situation has put serious doubts about the safety and reliability of the car and thereby the company.
