I called to get a price on switching to Direct TV and was quoted 87 – Michael D White email address

Stacy sent a message to Michael D. White, President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer DIRECTV, Inc. that said:

I called to get a price on switching to Direct TV and was quoted 87.00 for intranet and direct from one of your representatives and set it up thinking I was saving 20.00 a month from my provider I had currently. I received my first bill from your service and it was 68.00 then received the bill from Century Link for 140.00 I immediately called your customer service company that told me that the price quotes should have been right but I had to call century link. Called them numerous times and they would not honor the price direct quoted. I called a manager at Century Link who said he could not offer the price I was quoted and all he could do is disconnect my service and waive the cancellation fee, called direct to see if I could get ATT and they said it was not in the area. Asked if direct will waive the cancellation fee since they quoted the price Century link would not offer. Direct rep said I had to send my equipment back before I could find out about that. I have since made several attempts on line and by phone to talk to a manager was told one would call me in 48 hours never got call back. I emailed three managers that I found on line to try and get 400.00 fee waived never received a response. Today 400.00 was drafted from my account and I am overdrawn in my account and called very upset yet again today was on phone for 2 hours spoke to 5 people before I was told I needed to fill out a form online. I am so upset and mad at this point I want to scream. I thought before I plaster my horrible experience everywhere I would try explaining my reason I cancelled to you. I only cancelled because Direct quotes me a price that was not honored by Century Link. Please help me. I need that money back in my account. I never dreamed leaving my old service provider would cost me 50.00 additional per month plus countless hours of phone calls to try and resolve it but now I have 400.00 drafted from my bank account. PLEASE tell me you can help.
