Aubree,

cmy truck could have been done prior to picking up the truck. I put the truck into the shop in Jacksonville Florida for problems, front end pop, visor lights flickering, hard to start, check engine light. I was told on that Tuesday prior that they had other customers to take care of and couldn't look at my truck until next week. The shop finally was able to take truck in on that Tuesday or Wednesday. I was told that they didn't repair problems except for the check engine light had been cleared, but no repairs have been done besides that. I was also told that pop noise from the front end that could be a safety issue was normal.

I was told that I had 15 days to take the truck in shop and they would take care of any problems except minor cosmetic issues. While I waited in Atlanta for 2 days for this truck to be delivered (that was already supposed to be at this location). Down time for the shop in Jacksonville Fl ( appointment down time 7 days ) brought truck on a Monday for a Tuesday appointment. 1.5 days with no phone call from shop that truck was completed. when I called the shop the on answer of any questions was that the check engine light was a turbo boost warning and they didn't perform any repairs, only cleared the check engine light. I finally had a load to run and load in Pooler Ga. On the way to pickup the check engine light came back on within 100.0 miles so I had made a call to the shop. Told them my situation and I was told to go ahead and run load. I also called in to Penske to let them know that the truck had needed the same repairs once again.

I had told the shop that I was going to make one more run so that I could make my truck payment funds and then put it in the shop. Unfortunately the truck began to make a little engine noise after pickup in SC and I felt as though I needed to be cautious. At this point I called Penske and was told to bring it to the shop in Greer SC and they would take care of it. After I arrived the shop manager started to look at the truck right away and said that he would need to get approval to take apart to see actual problem. This approval took from 1:00pm to 10:30pm. at 10:30 I was told that they had received approvals needed to order parts and repair the problems. They gave me a ride to hotel and told me I should be done by late tomorrow. The next morning I walked to the Penske shop 5 or so miles away at about 2:00pm only to find out that they stopped all repairs and were no longer able to fix the truck and had to put the truck back together. Yet another day wasted money out the window. After several conversations NOBODY at Penske seem to care and didnt want to stand behind the problems that should have been Penskes issues to take care of. After wasted miles and 2 Days I had to bring the truck to a Volvo dealer and have been told that the truck will not be worked on for 10 to 14 days plus however long it would take to get parts. The time combined between 2 days of waiting on the truck, 8 days in Jacksonville shop, 2 days wasted at Penske in Greer, 14 days at Volvo dealer. 12 days during the 15 day warranty 14 days in Duncan Sc. Mileage to and from Penske shops 180.0. Not mention all cost involved such as hotels, taxi, meals, rental cars, deductible for repairs and so on. Sense the day I purchased the truck I have (been able) to work 7 days.

I would like to know what Penske is going to do for myself and cost of the attached work order ?

Please forward to whomever, thanks Aubree

Scott
