Greg sent a message to Ronald L. Nelson – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Avis Budget Group, Inc. – email address that said:
I did not want or request the Loss Damage Waiver for my car rental. I specified this to the agent. As I was initialing each box he told me which one was for refusal, I followed his instructions since he is the agent. I now have a chance to look at my bill and I was charged $149.95 for something I did not want. I feel that the agent or your company purposely misled me into signing the wrong box. I have rented from you before and have never had this issue, as a customer I am very dissatisfied. I understand that I should read everything but when the agent is stating what it is I am signing I feel that we should be able to trust them and that they are not misleading the customer.
