I expect my complaint is insignificant to your busy day but I do feel you need to know about the Hotpoint Customer Service offered in England. I purchased a Hotpoint Larder Fridge in April 2013 (my first fridge, same make and model RLM36P lasted for many years) and this is not now working properly. The wire from the compressor is freezing up and then thawing causing a wet area on the floor and side panel of the kitchen unit. It is not working properly. I have tried to contact Hotpoint , kept on hold for 20 minutes and gave up. I then tried Live Chat and after initial information to a staff member was told to contact the phone no! Tried again and no reply. I understand the fridge has a 5 year warranty on parts, but as I am not an engineer and cannot speak to someone about problem I cannot identify part required. I feel this is a totally impossible situation. A very poor service and a very poor item. I would be interested to hear any comments to are able to give or if you would forward my complaint to the relevant department. I am sure you will get an answer! I am forced to buy another fridge, different make. No wonder we are running out of raw materials if white goods do not last long and there is not a satisfactory outcome. Angela
