I have a long standing checking account #0223221724. On 03/20/2018, I deposited a Bank Cashiers Check for $26,939.28 into my checking account. On 03/21/2018, I initiated the purchased of an Online-only 360 CD for 24 months @ 2.20%. The online purchase process was very difficult requiring telecom assistance with your live personnel. On 03/22/2018, the funds were transferred FROM my checking; and, a CD account ending #4377 appeared on my online Capitalone.com account with $0 money. When I viewed this picture, the questions arose: where is the $26,939.28 that transferred from my account on 03/22/2018?, and now it is 03/24/2018. The clouds? Space? Where? Just finished a call to one of your live personnel. I was told that the funds are in "a 10 days holding stage" and that I am locked in under the aforementioned terms. And, that I will not see the CD $0. changed until 04/05/2018. This process notification appeared nowhere in the Online Instructions; and, it took my time talking to 2 of your live personnel at 2 different times to get this understanding of your processes. If The Online Only Purchase was to avoid this, then you failed. Ever year I have these same transactions with your competition Discover Bank and Symphony. Your comments, please. Thanks.
