I have been a Costco member for many years and always look forward to receivng the coupon book. The latest one (3/3 - 3/28/16) shows a $100 Instant Savings for a Novafoam 14" Comfort Grande Gel MemoryFoam Mattress including the Cal King size. This would result in a final cost of $599.99. My husband and I visited the south Orlando warehouse this past Saturday (3/12). Before we left home, we tried to see if there were any in stock but the website does not give this information. When we arrived, we were told there were none in stock at this location. The employee verified there were none in the southeastern United States.Today, when I tried to order it online, the price came up $100 higher...$699.99, after the instant savings. I then proceeded to call customer service and spoke to a supervisor that said this item is only available in CA and parts of AZ (proprietor). NOWHERE is this explained. Believe it or not, people in FL also have Cal/King beds, To say I am disappointed that the instant savings is not applicable in Florida is an understatement. If I had not recently renewed our membership, I would cancel it. I did go ahead and order the mattress because my husband needs a new one for his back. Needless to say, this has left a very sour taste in my mouth and at this point, it is unlikely we will continue our membership once it expires next year.
