I have been a customer of Ally Financial since August 2012 and couldn’t be happier with my decision to join the Ally Financial Family. You’ve always offered some of the most competitive rates in the market.
I am writing in regards to the unfortunate late payments that appear on my credit reports for my account. The late payments dated for July, November, and December of 2013, as well as January and February of 2014. Sorrowfully, I defaulted on our relationship by failing to submit my monthly payment(s) on time. It was a much unexpected time in my life, as I had to undergo losing much at that time, including a big portion of stable income from my household due to my husband losing his job. It was unforeseen and such a hardship at that time, but thankfully, now is a better financial time for my household. It is with humbleness that I rebuild a good, positive relationship with Ally Financial. I truly want to apologize for letting my obligation fall behind with the delinquent payments. I fully respect my obligation with Ally Financial and have worked diligently to amend my relationship with your company by regaining your trust. A brief look at my account will reveal I have successfully made on time payments since my unfortunate circumstance of losing income around the time stated above.
In light of my respect to your company and demonstrated commitment to rebuilding my trust with Ally Financial, I humbly request your consideration to allow me the opportunity to continue my obligation with a positive rating by making a goodwill adjustment in removing the late payments being reported on the three major credit bureau files (Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax).
I understand it may not be a normal request you’re used to receiving, though I am diligently working toward rebuilding and I know your good will adjustment will definitely aide in improving my credit worthiness and give me the renewed confidence as an Ally Financial customer in good standing. I appreciate your time and look forward to receiving a favorable decision from your company.
