Michael Rosney sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge - Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. - Email Address that said:
I have been a Time Warner customer for years now. My Wife and I are both seniors and retired,
with me being on Permanent Disability. As such, we live on a fixed income and have a tight budget. My Time Warner bill for our Internet service recently went up 25% from $39 to $49 a month. We use the internet to stay in touch with friends and family, online banking, and for entertainment. I recently called Time Warner customer service with my pricing concern and was told there was nothing they could do for me. I pointed out
that there were lower priced options for the same internet speed We now have, but was told that those prices are only for new customers. I asked if there was something that could be done to reward loyal customers and was basically told that there was nothing. I really do not want to have to cancel our internet service with Time Warner,
but our budget for entertainment is limited. We only have the Standard internet service and arent asking for faster service. We just need the same price benefit which you give a new customer, which is now $34.99 for your TWC Website offered Standard internet service. If there is anything in your power that you could do to help
us, we would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.
