I have been in the market since 1959 and have at least 10 firms to handle the records of my account over the years. I find that TD AMERICATRADE has no knowledge of what is needed. They want to know why i WANT the history of stock that I donot own now.I just received a Securities Litigation form to fill out. There HQ personnel wanted to know why I need the date and price I paid for it? I spent three hours on the phone with both a programmer and another person and got no where. Unless I get all of the data from SCOT TRADE data base, the company I am going to cant do much in getting the data I need. They or I will have to go thru several years of monthly reports. Your old branch office has done everything possible to help, but the system is set up so that he has to depends on the main office. Even the originial TD office employees say that HQ doesnt know what going on. Dont brother to answer this.
