I have had accounts at SunTrust for 25 years, even when it was Carolina Bank. However, I plan to remove the remainder of my funds unless I hear that you will stop supporting the Mt Valley Pipeline and all other oil/tar sands pipelines. Not only is this a certain precursor to oil spills destroying water and land and an increase carbon emissions beyond the already dangerous level of our earth (check ice melt stats to be alarmed), but it is no longer a smart investment. Renewable are the investment of the future, and the future is NOW or the planet and all its inhabitants perish. That is not hyperbole. It is fact.
