Juanita sent a message to Brian C. Cornell Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Target Corporation that said:
I have had the worst experience with your Target.com representatives. I had a package returned to Target from USPS and have been trying to receive the refund for over a week. Several representatives, and many, many hours on hold and the matter is still not resolved. I spoke to Miley, Supervisorthis morning after a 1-hour hold. After realizing that she could not assist I asked for the name and number of her supervisor. She refused to give me the name and number of someone she reports to and ultimately hung up. I should hope that this is not a true representation of the customer service provided at Target. I just finished speaking with Chris from Investor Relations and he stated that he processed the return. I should not have had to call in multiple times for the matter to be resolved. Please note that the email address on the order is incorrect (my daughter place the order and incorrectly used outlook instead of MSN). That is also something you may want to correct with your system. There should be a way for your representatives to current information on an order that is entered incorrectly. They stated that they could not update the email address.
