I have no choice but to step in and try to help my elderly sister. She was the victim of a con called bait and switch by your company. I thought shed be okay when she told me that she had chosen Sears to clean her vents. She wasnt. The two men sent to do the job DID NOT present the contract to her until they were finished. The contract clearly stated that her signature was required to START the job. START. Thats the key word here....START. Her daughter, my niece, had some terrible things said to her when she contacted your company. The woman told her that it wasnt her problem that her mother was left alone. She said that was my nieces fault. That was an ugly personal attack. Im going to repeat.....the workmen DID NOT present the contract to START the job until they were finished. My sister is easily intimidated because of our violent childhood. I, on the other hand, am not. It is urgent that I be contacted to settle this matter. Ive no choice but to get involved. Sears is a reputable company that played a dirty game on a little old lady in poor health. Please respond. That it was Sears that did this is shocking. Imagine that....Sears has become shysters. I am so disappointed.
