Sara sent a message to Glen F. Post, III President and CEO, CenturyLink, Inc. – email address that said:
I have sent you a letter before regarding my obtaining the Internet. That was straightened out. Now, I ordered it and it was supposed to be in with DirecTV. I am now getting a bill for $108 for Internet services. This is all wrong. I never ordered the Internet without being with DirecTV. I am 79 years of age and only live on Social Security of $793 a month. As you can see, after I pay all my rent, DirecTV and other bills. I do not have much left and that is why I ordered Internet with DirecTV as it would not cost as much. This is my only form of recreation. I contacted Century Link and advised them to cancel my subscription and I was advised that I have to have it for 12 months. I cannot afford it. I am not a rich person and do enjoy my TV and the Internet. It was Century Link's error in signing me up for their services. I should not have to pay for their ignorance. Please see what you can do to help me. Thank you and have a nice day.
