Ruby sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge – Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. – Email Address that said:
I joined Charter in April of this year, previously had another local provider. I switched due to a more affordable offer. My son has always set up auto pay as he takes care of this bill.I cannot get a good explanation as to why I am being charged late fees when I am told it is Charter's system that didn't get it taken care of. I ask for a e mail explaining this and was told this could not be done. I am a former customer service manager for a manufacturing firm and could not believe your representatives,yes more than one, refused to do this.Is this your company policy?
I did advise them I am contacting you regarding this so I could verify if this is the policy. I will not pay late charges as I feel I am not responsible.
