I just purchased a new slide in range from JC Penney...very excited. Scheduled to be here 7-11 am. Went to great lengths to make the process as efficient as possible...we pulled out the old range and had it staged outside so all they had to do was roll it in and done. The truck got here and they efficiently hauled the old range away...and then told me that my range was not on their truck!! The delivery guy made a phone call and after about 15 minutes told me someone would be calling me within the hour and they would deliver it on another truck today. That was about 8:30 this morning. Now I was just informed that they would deliver it on the 3rd. I am speechless!! I have a kitchen with no range until Tuesday. How is this acceptable? I did speak with a supervisor and she is trying to expedite but I truly am beside myself.
