I' m not sure if Mr Stack will actually reads this message but I give a good college try. I would like to know the Dick's Dept policy on shoplifting. As a Police Officer, I was off duty when a lady stole from a retail store next to Dick's Sporting Goods. While waiting for a on duty police officer to arrive the suspect ran on foot and I had to chase her down. The suspect had a taser in her purse and she attempted to assault me with the taser during the arrest. The suspect was taken into custody for shoplifting and inside her purse she stole over $200 dollars from YOUR Ocala, Fl store on SR200. I was told by the on duty police Officer that management declined to prosecute the suspect for stealing from your store. I would love to hear your policy. The men/women put their lives on the line and some would say it's just a shoplifting (Over Billion dollar illegal business a year). This suspect could have easily pulled out a gun versus a taser.
