I made a reservation today for the Marriott City Center in Oakland Ca. The process was terrible. It took 4 telephone calls. The first 3 apparently were via some overseas call centers and I could not understand the operators, finally I asked for a U.S. person. Furthermore I had to repeat all information twice because of different screen use for different days. It was the worst experience that I have ever had in booking a simple reservation. If this is the best that the chain can do it cannot bode well for the future.
